At KS Profile we take our responsibility for the environment and climate seriously. The steel processing industry can make great strides in reducing CO₂ emissions. In order to make a concrete contribution to a sustainable future, we employ environmentally friendly production processes and use sustainable materials wherever possible.
Our steel profiles are produced with attention to ecological impact, and these processes are also recorded. We use only green electricity, some of which we generate ourselves. In addition, where possible, we try to provide transportation electrically. Also, all the profiles we produce can be made of sustainable steel.

More and more contracting parties are setting high requirements with regard to CO₂-reducing measures. Using profiles made from certified sustainable steel can make the difference in tenders due to the large difference in CO₂ emissions. Certified sustainable
We have a responsibility to pass on our earth as clean as possible to future generations. As a large steel processor, we take responsibility for reducing our carbon footprint. At KS Profile, we like to do this with decisiveness and through concrete actions. For example, we strive to minimize waste through smart design and efficient production, among other things. Residual materials are recycled. We generate a large part of our own energy consumption and we use green electricity. We also offer more sustainable types of steel.
CO2- performance ladder
As far as we are concerned, sustainability is not optional but a permanent part of our business operations. Therefore, together with the other KS companies, we have had ourselves certified for the CO₂-Performanceladder. The CO2 Performance Ladder is a Dutch sustainability tool that supports organizations, including companies and governments, in reducing CO2 emissions and costs in operations, projects and supply chains. We are proud of our certification, and it is also good news for our customers. Not only do you benefit from high-quality products, but you also contribute to a more sustainable world.
